This true story is taken from Malawi mission from my local church. A village in Malawi had turned a missionary Tim and a friend into a frenzy. They were knocked to the ground and beaten by a lynch mob of 300 or so.
Miraculously, a car happened to pass by and Tim was able to jump into the bull bar fo the moving car and get out of there. His friend got pulled back into the crowd and sustained more serious injuries. Tim was able to get the police in time to save his friend's life. It was found out later tha there were attempts to douse Tim and his mate with petrol and set them alight.
Morale of this story is that we need peaceful solutions that comes from compassionately peaceful hearts. People need to be reminded again and AGAIN to seek a more peaceful solution rather than wage wars against their universal brothers and sisters on this planet. There is no need for violence, we are all here to learn the lessons on love.
I strongly believe that when peace signs and words become common everywhere, violence and wars would die by its own accord eventually.
Buy peaceful pendants, t shirts and wear them every where possible to share, remind, bombard everybody with the peaceful message everywhere.

Just in case, you have been living under the rocks for past few centuries :D. Things are happening for a reason. These are cases for world peace. We need to elevate ourselves, each and every one of us so that we could achieve total world peace on this planet. Otherwise, suffering/fear/sorrow/disaster would keep coming back to remind us back to compassion for peace.
